1. I love the simple things, too! When we were really struggling financially, I always set aside a couple of dollars each month to get a new color of nail polish…then Friday’s we would have ‘pamper day’ and get all ‘girled’ up with our manicures. I felt ‘pretty’….definitely a simple thing, but one that encouraged me greatly. I’m thinking it’s time to revive that ‘tradition.’ : ) Thanks for the memory…and reminder! 😀
