It’s almost Back to School time or NOT Back to School time for us homeschoolers!

In Douglas family news, we are pretty well settled into our new place. It’s a big change from the country living we experienced for the past 2 years. But the kids seem to be enjoying having their own space above ground. (They lived in a basement for a year and a half.)

I’m doing okay with the highway driving to go babysit this little guy:

He’s the first child of my niece. His name is Cyrus. I call him Cyrus the Great.

He was having a hard time gaining weight when I first started helping with him. I suggested that we put him on goat milk formula, so we tried it, and now he is thriving! We order Bubs from Amazon, and it is delivered the next day!

He loves to be held. ❤️

I have been very active on TikTok lately, encouraging homeschool moms. My friend, Elisabeth Thomas, got me started, and we started collaborating on doing Lives together several times a week. Now we have a following, so we’re going to do an event for homeschool moms to help them with planning for the new school year. Anyone is welcome, so, even if you’re not on TikTok, if you would like to attend a workshop for planning the new year, please join us. It will be on Wednesday, July 31st at 6:00 PM ET. And now for the news…

Wow! What a time to be alive!

As chaotic as it all seems, God is still in control. He has a plan for humanity, and He is working it out.

The enemy is defeated. He is under our feet. We are victorious through Christ Jesus. Trust Him to take care of your family during these tumultuous times.

It can be hard to hold onto your faith when finances are tight or your health is failing. But God is faithful.

Relationships can be more difficult during stressful times, but hold onto God. He will never forsake you. He knows your heart. He loves you no matter what. And He will help you restore those relationships.

Everything is being restored to LOVE. On Earth as it is in Heaven. It’s a painful process coming out of the Darkness we’ve been in for so long, but God is orchestrating this, and He will keep us as long as we’re holding tight to Him.

Make sure you take time to just be with Him, especially during stressful times. Put on your favorite worship music and sing along. Go outside and do some grounding. Talk to Him like He’s sitting right there with you. Have a picnic with Him! You’ll find out He’s a lot of fun!

Count your blessings. It might be difficult to think of them, but there’s always something we can be grateful for.

And know that God is in control. He hasn’t forgotten you. He loves you extravagantly. And He works all things together for your good.

Pray for wisdom! We all need it now.

Know that I care, and I’m praying for you and your families. If you ever need special prayer, please reach out to me. I love to pray! And I know that God hears our prayers and answers them.
