An Interview with Rhea Perry – A Homeschool Pioneer

In 2019, I had the honor of interviewing Rhea Perry of Educating for Success.
It was such an honor to interview Rhea Perry, one of the homeschool pioneers. She started homeschooling in 1987. She and her husband moved their family to the country and focused on raising their kids and a bunch of animals. They were happy with their new life, but her husband, who had a teaching job, was missing out on all the fun. So Rhea and her children started working on ways to replace Daddy’s income. They decided on real estate and found ways to use the internet to make money from home. They more than replaced his income, and he was able to come home and participate in all of the wonderful things that the family was doing. He was also able to take care of his father who became sick and needed full-time care until he passed away. Rhea has so many amazing stories of ways that they worked together as a family to make an income that far surpassed what they could have made in traditional jobs.
She does what she does because she knows that college is not for everyone, and she believes that we can take advantage of the internet to guide our children into unprecedented opportunities. We can help our children become entrepreneurs and live an extraordinary life.
